MAALJ Mission Statement

The Maryland Association of Administrative Law Judiciary (MAALJ) is an affiliated chapter of the National Association of Administrative Law Judiciary. As an affiliate, MAALJ is a professional organization made up of active and retired state, federal, and local administrative law judges, administrative judges, and hearing officers. MAALJ’s mission is to maintain the highest professional standards and advocate for improvements in the field of administrative law. To attain this mission, MAALJ provides a common meeting ground for individuals currently or formerly charged with the performance of adjudicatory functions in administrative law.
