The Membership Committee plays a crucial role in expanding and enriching our member base. In addition, the Membership Committee ensures existing members receive maximum value. Its primary focus is on attracting new members, retaining current ones, and enhancing the overall MAALJ experience through strategic measures.

The Education Committee designs, develops, and implements plans for meetings, programs, and activities for the organization. They secure speakers for both annual and monthly meetings, as well as design, develop, and initiate programs for member education and training. Additionally, they perform other functions necessary to facilitate the ongoing operation of the Association. This committee also makes recommendations to the Board of Governors regarding conferences, seminars, panels, lectures, and discussion groups.

The Nominations Committee nominates a slate of all officers and members-at-large of the Board of Governors.
