MARYLAND ASSOCIATION OF ADMINISTRATIVE LAW JUDICIARY (MAALJ)
2025 NAALJ ANNUAL CONFERENCE
October 19 – 22, 2025
Whitney Peak Hotel, Reno, Nevada
Several Board members from the Maryland Association of Administrative Law Judiciary (MAALJ), along with two newly installed National Association of Administrative Law Judiciary (NAALJ) Board members, recently attended the NAALJ Conference in Reno, NV, from October 19-22, 2025.
The conference offered incredibly engaging and informative content, and the social events provided a wonderful opportunity to strengthen bonds with fellow ALJs from various jurisdictions and forge new connections. A special congratulations goes to Brian Weeks and Erin Cancienne, who were among the newly installed NAALJ Board members. We were particularly moved and incredibly proud to see our very own Kathleen Chapman receive the prestigious Victor Rosskopf award. Her acceptance speech was truly emotional, and as she so eloquently put it, there is no higher honor than to be nominated by one’s peers. We extend our sincere gratitude to the OAH for enabling this exceptional group to participate and proudly represent the outstanding Maryland Office of Administrative Hearings!
